I have a website that receives leads for my business. I'm trying to set up a canned response through Gmail with filters for subject line, no issue there, it's all set up. The issue lies in the way the website leads are routed (I think) to my email. Because the sender has to input their email into a form, then hit send, it routes the email through firstname.lastname@example.org. So when it auto-replies, it goes to the sender email of "email@example.com", not where I want it to go which is firstname.lastname@example.org. Clients have to input their email into the online form, so I have it in the subject body of the email, just can't figure out how to auto-reply back to that email, as opposed to the "email@example.com"
What's the fix here? I know i'm missing something.
