I found this to be very fascinating, apparently scientist found a 7.2 million-year-old hominid fossils in Greece: https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2017/05/170523083548.htm

The title of the topic is really misleading.....from the link you posted:

7.2-million-year-old pre-human remains found in the Balkans

 

hominid: A primate of a family ( Hominidae ) that includes humans and their fossil ancestors and also (in recent systems) at least some of the great apes.

 

Maybe you can get one of the really nice moderators to change the title for you.
