Are you talking about the toolbars at the top or the content on the page?

If it is the toolbars at the top you can right click in an empty space and either uncheck some of the toolbars or click "customize" and then select or deselect whatever you want.

If it is the Yahoo toolbar itself you are talking about there should be somewhere on it to click that will allow you to customize the toolbar and the content of the page if you are using Yahoo as your homepage.

Also, click the Tools menu, then click manage Add-ons. You can get rid of some of those unwanteds this way as well.
