HDD Renamed

Installed skyrim to my second drive, and its renamed itself. On the properties tab it's named 'Windows 2' which is what i want but on the PC tree it's still named Skyrim i've checked dskmgmt too and it says windows 2 there aswell, any ideas?

Hi,

 

Check the root of the drive for any autorun.inf file and remove it.

Hi, rather then remove  (delete) the autorun.inf file you can add your new label to it, this way it remains this label even if you move it to another computer.

 

Open the autoruns.inf file, it opens in notepad add the following two lines:-

 

[autorun]
Label= "Windows 2"    (Save and exit).

 

Restart computer.
