I purchased a new computer and installed it using same Microsoft user name as previous computer.  New one has same issues.  Cannot restore to original state.  When in safe mode using dos prompt running chkdsk drive changing from C to X. All antivirus programs say no issues.

I am attaching the reports.  I cannot run chkdsk /f either in safe mode or regular mode.  It says file is locked.  It also changes the c drive to a x drive in safe mode.

In regular mode at the command prompt I get this message:  Access denied as you do not have sufficient privileges. You have to invoke this utility running in an elevated mode.

In safe mode at the command prompt X:\winodws\system 32>  When I type C: and run chkdsk /f I get the following message:  Chkdsk cannot run because the volume is in use by another process.  Chkdsk may run if this volume if dismounted first.  ALL OPENED PROCESSES TO THIS VOLUME WOULD THEN BE INVALID.  Would you like to force a dismount on this volume. Y/N

Sorry for the delay in my response.  I am more convinced that ever that I do in fact have a virus on this computer although all of the programs I have run say none are found.  I believe the updates to Norton etc are being redirected to another site.

I am attaching the 2 logs you requested.  I couldn't follow the Rogue Killer directions as didn't know how to export TXT.
