Ubuntu App has Full Access to my Google Account?

I admit, I don't use my Google Account much, so did not see the Ubuntu App had Full Access on my Google "Apps with access to your account"  Page Then Under "Third-party apps" .

 

Ubuntu App "Has full access to your Google Account"

 

I also admit I don't know what this is, I assume it's what they use to store my password to log in quickly?

 

Can someone explain in simple terms what this all means to me as far as security goes?

Its mainly for syncing purposes,  it usually comes if you use chrome

So if I refuse Full Access will I be able to Auto LogIn to Ubuntu?

Yes its not tied into the OS.

Also, never use auto login.

I know passwords are a pain but this isnt 2001 and this isnt windows XP
