How to choose the suited DDR2 or DDR3 memory that correctly synchronized for a certain laptop M/B ?

What are all the requirements that must be complied?

Whatever brands are best in price/performance assestment ?

I've said it before and I'll say it again, whether you buy from Crucial or not, their System Scanner or on-their-webpage advisor function has never led me wrong.


It sure beats guessing.
