for a old machine like that... meh i may not bother.

They will probably send it back to the factory anyhow and charge you more for it.

Better off fixing it on your own or finding a good local computer repair shop.

Just no geek squad, those people are morons.

Well if they will give you a good replacement then its all good.

I just know how funny those big retailers are sometimes, money raking is a profession they take pride in from uninformed consumers.

Second gen core i5 it seems, good ram and hard drive space so its within modern specs.

it got here, its not the one pictured 8)

its the one you told me not to get 8( the one with the drive on its side

 

its a 3.1 instead of a 3.3

i5 2400 does have 8gig memory and 2terabytes hard drive, dvd writer

its very quiet.

how do i know its ddr 3

 

the mouse exploded when i opened the box 8)

have 2 working ones

 

keyboard looks new, but basic model

pc tower nice and clean, inside and out, just a few smudges

 

did i mention its very very quiet :bananas:

Well luckily something like that can be replaced but if it's under warranty I would ask about it. Hard drives are not that expensive so luckily you have that

Are they finagling you on the warranty? Did you get it from Walmart? It's underneath the 3-year plan isn't it? Then it becomes obligation to replace it or repair it. Get it replaced or repaired and tell him you have it under warranty they should not charge you for any extra crap I would not take no for an answer if not take it to repair shop or repair it on your own because sometimes repair shops are not that honest either

i cant return to walmart

its from a third party

i sent walmart an email about if the return is covered

and i sent an email to blare tech to get this return notice, i have to file a return claim. then i can return it

 

got it from walmarts website

 

for now i wait..........

 

gonna start looking for a cheap new one
