You could do the same job with a Ryzen 5 or 7, threadripper is something for really those hard core on this sort of thing.
In terms of content creation you would not do so bad if you paired say a Ryzen 7 with a GTX 1060 or above.
The common myth spread around is you need the most high end hardware and the most high end setup to make a machine that is capable of gaming and content creation.
Not true, adobe premier still will work great on the lower end Ryzens, sure not as fast but rendering can also be done with the GPU.
Threadripper is pretty much balls to the wall, enthusiast grade turbo power, and while it is a great platform its pricing may be best suited elsewhere.
I mean you still may need all the other things to to twitch streaming like a good mic or a decent webcam and a good headset.
Plus you may wish to invest in mechanical keyboards and gaming mice to have some competitive edge.
That is if you have not done so already.
Add on if you may need a good monitor too, its best to see where your needs are going to be best served.
