Mi Notebook Charging problem.

I am facing strange charging issue on my Mi Laptop. I imported it from china few month ago. Problem is; Battery shows it's charging but it's stuck on 88% when i pull out the charging jack it turn off and not power on until i plugin the charger. Here is video of my problem

I think it's most likely to be simply a faulty battery. To prove it though, you'd need to be able to test it with a known good battery. If it did the same with a good battery, the fault would appear to be in the mainboard circuitry that controls the charging and switching between battery and mains power. That would require a workshop repair.
