Hi everyone, been a big fan of this site for a long time, thought I'd sign up as I have a question that I'm hoping one of you will answer.

So, I re-installed Windows 10 home edition due to errors, and I was having a problem installing the new windows update '1709', anyway, it finally installed today

(after taking ages...), but I have noticed after it had finished that when I run the NET USERS command in command prompt, there appears to be an account called 'WDAGUtilityAccount'.

Does anyone know anything about this?

Any help is much appreciated.

Thank you.

Hello, thanks for the link. I did do a search online, but half the results are people thinking they are infected, and the other half seem to be random stuff.

Do you have anymore detail on what it is...

Thank you. :-)

This account is part of Windows Defender Application Guard which is included in the creators fall update 1709.
