I have been messed up my pc with satan ransomware malware infected with encrypted .stn extension in almost all my personal data files. Satan which is created by hacker in Jan 2017. Now, I can't use it until I decrypt .stn files. I don't have any backup or system restore. Also, there is no decryptor for this. I had searched a lot but no use. At last I got a site like https://www.nomoreransom.or... & https://www.watchpointdata.... where all decryptors will be uploaded by professionals but they are working for satan decryptor still. But I need my data urgently. Encrypted using AES-256 and RSA-2048... Please give any solutions for recovering my data.

Any files that are encrypted with Satan RaaS (Ransomware as a Service) will have it's filename scrambled, the .STN extension appended to the end of the encrypted data filename and leave files (ransom notes) named HELP_DECRYPT_FILES.html as explained here.

Unfortunately, there is no known way at this time to decrypt files encrypted by Satan RaaS without paying the ransom. If possible, your best option is to restore from backups, try file recovery software or wait for a possible solution at a later time.

There is an ongoing discussion in this topic where victims can post comments, ask questions and seek further assistance. Other victims have been directed there to share information, experiences and suggestions. When or if a decryption solution is found, that information will be provided in that support topic and you will receive notification if subscribed to it. In addition, a news article most likely will be posted on the BleepingComputer front page.

Rather than have everyone with individual topics, it would be best (and more manageable for staff) if you posted any more questions, comments or requests for assistance in the above support topic discussion...it includes experiences by experts, a variety of IT consultants, end users and company reps who have been affected by ransomware infections. To avoid unnecessary confusion, this topic is closed.
