This is the laptop I'am using currently: https://icecat.us/en_sg/p/asus/k555lb-xo269h/notebooks-K555LB-XO269H-29879450.html
( ASUS K555LB-XO269H 2.2GHz i5-5200U 15.6" 1366 x 768pixels Black,Stainless steel Notebook :
Intel Core i5-5200U (2.2GHz, 3MB Cache), 12GB DDR3L, 1000GB HDD, Intel HD Graphics 5500 + NVIDIA GeForce 940M, WLAN 802.11 b/g/n, Gigabit Ethernet, Windows 10)

Do you think it is possible to upgrade this laptop into something that gives reasonable rendering speeds(Mostly for Lumion and Revit)?
Thank you.

Everything, except the RAM (maybe, although I'm not sure on this) is soldered on so unless you are running out of RAM, then no.
