I have a new Toshiba Satellite laptop, and am having problems with sizing. When I am on the web, some pages fill only the left 2/3 of my screen. Worse, my pre-installed games are small. Free Cell is on only about the left half of the screen, and minesweeper is so teeny I can't play it. minesweep doesn't have a maximize option, either.

These problems can't be corrected by dragging the window to be bigger. Can't find a simple Q and A on the Toshiba site!

There are a few things that could cause this,
one is your video card, so I'll ask, is this recent? Or has it always been this way.
Two it could be a configurable option from display, so what is the model number of your labtop?
Three, it could be viral, so go here http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/34773/preparation-guide-for-use-before-using-malware-removal-tools-and-requesting-help/ and follow the directions, number three is option at this point though, because we aren't sure about the first two.

Try changing your screen resolution.
The instructions that came with the games should tell you what resolution is needed to play them.
