Hi! I have one issue on Dell Latitude E6530 (Currently using) and Lenovo ThinkPad T410 (Stopped using). I tried wake up my laptop from long sleep like 6-8 hours. It rebooted itself. Event viewer reported there is bugcheck came with dumped memory.dmp but it is very large size file like over 600mb. What do you recommend file sharing service? Btw, I uploaded SysnativeBSODCollectionApp file attached for just in case.

Here are info from event viewer.

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000001a (0x0000000000004477, 0x000000000014787a, 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000). A dump was saved in: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 7a07c050-2dce-4b38-91cc-070d6f56754f.

I ran dell test diagnostic. I attached photo. Everything is passed without issue. I moved 2x4GB RAM to Dell Latitude E6530 from ThinkPad T410. I remember I ran Memtest86 on ThinkPad long time ago. It passed without issue before.

Note0: I updated BIOS A17 which fixed glitch BIOS screen because I replaced broken 1080p screen with free 720p screen from dead laptop. 720p was not supported until BIOS A17. I do not think BIOS is issue because I have Linux Debian from another SSD. It can wake up from long sleep than 8 hours on Dell Latitude and Lenovo ThinkPad both. Windows 10 software is driving me crazy.

Note1: Dell Latitude and Lenovo ThinkPad have same Intel brand wifi chip but Lenovo support and Dell support (only Dell offers its own Dell WiFi drivers for windows 10.) do not have download Windows 10 drivers for Intel Wi-Fi chip because Windows always have its preinstalled intel driver (not Windows Update). I will try check out Intel website later.

Note2: I always installed latest display driver from intel and nvidia website after I installed Windows 10 every machines but Windows Update replaced them without my permission. I wish sue MS.

P.S. I am currently traveling.

I suggest checking to see if the large memory dump is from 11/50or 11/6.  If so, the system automatically created a minidump that was uploaded with the Sysnative report.

If not, you can zip it up and use a file sharing service of your choice (I suggest OneDrive - but make sure that it's shared out).

Your UEFI/BIOS (version A17) dates from 2015 (I did read that you just updated to A17).  Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any UEFI/BIOS updates available for your system.  If you are able to install the update through Windows (without booting from an external drive), then go ahead and update it.  WARNING - if the computer might shut down during this procedure, please don't do it, as this may physically damage the computer and prevent it from booting.
FYI - W8 and W10 communicate more with the UEFI/BIOS than previous versions of Windows, so it's important to ensure that the UEFI/BIOS is kept up to date (and the outdated UEFI/BIOS' may be the cause of some compatibility issues).

Although you appear to have a reasonable number of Windows Update hotfixes for this version of your OS, please double check for any new Windows Updates.  It only takes one update to cause a problem, so it's essential that you have all of them.  The actual number is not important.  Rather it's important that you checked manually, installed any available updates, and didn't experience any errors when checking or updating.

The memory dumps seem to blame hardware - most likely nVidia hardware (either the video or hi-def audio)

The issue here is whether it's the nVidia card, or it's the attached 720p screen.

The first step would be a clean install of the latest, W10 compatible video drivers from Dell (not from nVidia).

in the past, laptop manufacturer's used their own software to manage switching between cards, and that required custom drivers.
If Dell does not have W10 drivers for this card, then you're alternative is to try the nVidia drivers (you may want to ask Dell support about this).

If the clean install of video drivers doesn't fix it, then it's either the video card or the display (IMO the video card is the most likely).

Are you able to replace the video card on a laptop?  If not, then it may be time for a new laptop.

Good luck!

Please update these older drivers.  Links are provided in order to assist you with looking up the source of the drivers.
If unable to find an update, please uninstall the program that is responsible for that driver.

DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable!!!:

- I checked and rerun Windows Update. Everything is already updated. I'm on creator fall version.

- I do not have reason to update latest BIOS A20 version because only they have fixed Intel engine security which I don't use WakeLAN and remote control laptop. I disabled them. My SSD is fully GPT to boot windows and Linux via UEFI by default.

- Glitch screen issue is about BIOS itself, not video card. I can boot Windows or Linux. Driver will automatically refreshed screen to get rid of glitch when login screen show up.

- For switch video card. You meant Nvidia optimus. That software are always part of Intel and nvidia driver. It is enabled by BIOS because I need Intel HD to save battery life. I don't have worry about that.

- I already reinstalled clean of Windows 10 creater fall last Wednesday or Thursday but Windows update replaced Intel ans nvidia drivers I installed. I used Nvidia website because they are made drivers for fall creator version of Windows 10. I will use DDU to disable auto search update driver then download driver from Dell. Thanks for tip. Edit: here are info from Dell Supports for my laptop

Discrete Graphics - nVIDIA GeForce 830M/840M/GT 720M and NVS 5200M

Version: 10.18.13.5382 ,A01

Release Date: 04 Nov 2015

File Name: Video_Driver_N4MHX_WN32_10.18.13.5382_A01.EXE

Intel HD, HD 4000 Graphics Driver
Version: 10.18.10.4425 ,A18
Release Date: 07 Jul 2016
File Name: Video_Driver_DCG08_WN32_10.18.10.4425_A18_01.EXE

So, I'll use DDU and keep version from Dell.

- Apple Magic mouse driver came from 3rd party software which it enabled scroll and multi touch on mouse for any Windows version. It supported Windows 10. I'll uninstall it because sometime I use it for travel.

Oh that dump from BSOD Nov 5? I saw it when my friend plug HDMI to tv from my laptop. he tried again. No problem. On Nov 6. I do not see BSOD when wake up laptop from long sleep but I guess hidden BSOD. Thanks for know.

Thanks for replying.

Oh another note. ThinkPad T410 has Intel HD 1000 only. No nvidia on it. They have same issue when wake up from long sleep.

I will upload dump memory via onedrive night.

No but I hope it is just driver issue or windows 10 software itself because my two laptops has different hardware. (ThinkPad has i5 first gen, BIOS, and HD 1000 and Latitude has i7 third gen, UEFI, HD 4000, and NVS 5100M) Maybe overheat hardware cause driver software go crazy like my hot GTX 980 crashed driver.

I never seen Linux Debian have issue before on ThinkPad and Latitude laptop. I think I may use Intel HD 4000 as one GPU only by disable or uninstall Nvidia drivers.

Got it!  It's from 7 Nov (after the other 2 above).

Please update these older drivers.  Links are provided in order to assist you with looking up the source of the drivers.
If unable to find an update, please uninstall the program that is responsible for that driver.

DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable!!!:

From the 3 memory dumps, I'd tend to suspect the  nvhda64v.sys driver due to it's age.

If the Dell drivers don't fix things, then try disabling the nvhda64v.sys driver in Device Manager and see if that helps.

- It may not help, as the driver loads early in the boot process and remains in memory when it's disabled

But, if there's an improvement, we may want to see about removing the driver completely to see if it will stop the problem.

To do that, I'll post some suggestions on how to remove it safely if it's needed.

My eye problems have recently increased and I'm having difficult reading posts. (23 Nov 2017)
FYI - I am completely blind in the right eye and ~30% blind in the left eye.

If the eye problems get worse suddenly, I may not be able to respond.
If that's the case and help is needed, please PM a staff member for assistance.

Thanks for help. You may can lock this thread if hijack thread.

I ran DDU to complete removed Intel HD and Nvidia drivers files. I reinstalled latest drivers instead of enterprise long-term drivers I used. (I guess they are not designed for Fall Creator of Windows 10) I set Intel HD mode by default. It seem no BSOD at wake from long sleep or plugging HDMI. I do not know it did replaced or fixed nVidia HDMI Audio Device but I am happy for no BSOD crash. Note, I was told by hackintosh users that HDMI port is part of Nvidia chip and VGA port is part of Intel HD chip.

Anyway, I will try update Intel Wireless WiFi Link and Bluetooth Driver. However I cant sure if Dell trackpad/point control software (nice GUI) support Alps drivers (Alps pointing device OEM) but I will try it.

P.S. GlassWire Network Security driver version is actually already latest from GlassWire website.
