Mod Edit. Split from: https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/661058/remplremshexe-wakes-up-sleeping-pc-every-day

I have the same problem; task manager wakes up my pc every day to run rempl/remsh.exe at 11:00 am, from hibernate
To: Bleeping Tree Hugger, Automatic Maintenance is set at 02:00 am and Allow wake up computer to OFF. Task manger is still waking up my pc at 11:00am, so there lays not the problem for me.
I do not believe that remsh.exe is a virus as I did all kinds of checks on my pc.
My problem is, a few weeks ago I had under the “conditions tab” for this task, disabled “Wake the computer to run this task”. Doing this, my pc did not wake-up anymore. But in the last 3 days the problem started again. The “wakeup” is enabled again.  What I assume is that the pc did an update and the activated the task again.
Question: how can I stop windows from changing this task?
