Hello. Im having a problem with my PC.
It won't boot. It goes through the motherboard splashscreen and then it shows a horizontal grey stripe and a couple green dots above it (also oriented horizontally).

The EZ Debug LEDs do light up.
First DRAM, then VGA afterwards. Sometimes its only DRAM.

I'm suspecting RAM failure.

I went to the service 3 times now, and it worked for them, they ran GPU stress tests and just told me to pick it up. I take it home (nothing was done to it, they just ran a stress test to see if the GPU fails), plug it in and it works for a couple of days. Then i get "No Signal" on my monitor, the PC seems to be working (fans are spinning, GPU lighting is on), but when i try to reboot... (read first paragraph, the cycle repeats)

I switched the DisplayPort cable to DVI and surprisingly the PC worked. For ~30 minutes. Haven't been able to rescue it since then. Tried different cables, different monitor, etc.

Im taking it to the service tomorrow, but i expect to hear the same thing. Im gonna tell them about the LEDs (again) and that i suspect the RAM.

Specs:
GPU - MSI GTX 970
CPU - i5-6500
RAM - HyperX DDR4 8GB Single Channel
MOBO - MSI B150 PC MATE
PSU - Aerocool KCAS-600W
A Seagate 1TB HDD and a Crucial 250GB SSD + CD/DVD Drive

I have attached a pic of the grey stripe.

Sorry for typing this much but i wanted to describe all i could.

can you try a different monitor?  a grey bar like that to me could be a bad power supply in your monitor itself.  and if it's the problem i could see monitor causing feedback into your pc and causing your pc not to boot.

Have you tried removing the graphics card and using the integrated graphics? If you've ruled out monitor, cable, that would be worth trying next I think.
