Can anyone shed some light into this? Am I having a hardware defect?

Let me know if there is a need to probe more into event viewer.

Also, my screens are hanging out of the blue more frequently while doing office work.

It will be nice if someone who is both computer expert and wireless network areas to advise for this issue.

Change your encryption from WPA2 to WPA Windyy91. Some devices have issues the staying connected with WPA2 encryption.

Here is a list of channel sorted SSID's

I would try to swap channels to see if that helped

Try channel 1 on 2,4GHz

On 5GHz its more difficult to say. Which one to choose would depend on how wide (20,40 or 80MHz) the other networks are.
Perhaps try channel 44 and see if that helps
