My cell phone is old. It's still works, but I've always had trouble turning it on.

I'm looking for a flip phone.

I only use it to call out. Some months I never use it.

Three questions.

1) I want to get a Samsung phone, same make as I have now, because it's lasted so long.

My carrier does not carry Samsung.

Can I get one from Amazon and keep my old plan?????

2) Do I have to go back to my carrier to load the new phone with my old plan?????

3) Could it be a simple as swapping out the SIM card??????

Really, best to check with your wireless service carrier.  If your carrier is Verizon, one would expect that Samsung is among their brands, but you not say who is your carrier.  SIM card for a 'feature' phone, not smartphone?   the older phone that I am familiar with has no SIM card but maybe this depends on the carrier or the specific phone model.

I have T mobile.

They used to have Samsung.

All they have is a Alcatel GO FLIP.

Reviews not all the great.

As for me there is no better smartphone than iPhone. I have an iPhone SE and it's the best for me.
