not uploading video files

I can not upload big files such as videos  and music to google drive and youtube. I get error message: remote device or resource does not allow connection. no problem with a simple textfile. It also goes well on a laptop on wifi as well as another computer on same cable network as the one having the problem. It would seem that there is some internal rule blocking the connection. I just can't figure out what it is, I sure hope you can.

Yes, there are probably rules to uploading media files to google drive and youtube. File size, file formats etc.

Perhaps - but this happened recently I have been able to do this before. so something must have changed but don't know what, besides i can do it on other machines so it must be a fault on this particular machine

Yes, it applies to Chrome as well.
