I have a HP G61 laptop and it won't boot up, I am trying to work out what is causing the issue so I have removed the battery and did a hard reset and still no joy so left the battery out and plugged the charger in and the charger port white light comes on for about 10-15 seconds and then goes out so tried another charger in case it was the charger itself but does the same (the charger port light is white for about 10 -15 seconds and then goes out).

I am wondering if the DC power jack is no good or it's the motherboard itself is on it's way out.

Has anyone else had a similar issue or have any advice

Thank you in advance
