Ive had the same problem with 2 of my old hdds so i thought buying a new one would solve the problem but the sound is still there. Whenever it happens (randomly) my computer freezes only while playing games for about 10-20 seconds and after that responds and continues to work without a problem. ive also had a few bsods with memory_management error. The sound that you can hear on the link is just before i got the bsod. https://vocaroo.com/i/s0Xb2kQytJSh
Please help.

I've seen weak power supplies cause that to happen too, what brand name, wattage output and age is your current power supply?

Hantol hdds are junk.  In this article you will see where parts have been faked from concrete, yep... I said concrete.

I am closing this thread to avoid confusion.
