Before I can start to fix anything, I've got to get my Administrator status back. I can't download from the internet, I can't change settings on my machine, I can't read some of the files. (Not allowed, don'tcha know.) Can't get to my firewall, which was pretty solid at one time. I am being held hostage. I am surprised I have gotten this far. But then, again, maybe I haven't. Maybe I am being .....gasp...... redirected. We shall see. That is why they call me ParaNoid!

Any suggestions on the Administrator bit? I will be truly grateful.

Reboot in Safe Mode. Log in as Administrator. Change account settings. Reboot back to normal.
