Hey everybody,

For the past few months, I've been having issues with my PC where the first few (4-8) times I boot up my PC and launch programs, I will either encounter a blue screen, have my PC freeze up, or randomly restart without warning. Typically, the PC will freeze or BSOD when I launch intensive programs like games or simulations - but also occurs if I leave the PC alone for a while or very randomly in general.

Here are a list of BSOD Codes I've gotten for the past few months:

KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION

UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP

PFN_LIST_CORRUPT

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

DRIVER_OVERRAN_STACK

MEMORY_MANAGEMENT

ATTEMPTED_EXECUTE_OF_NO_EXECUTE_MEMORY

KERNEL_AUTO_BOOST_LOCK_ACQUISITION_IRQL (this one might be incorrect, my PC restarted before I could fully jot it down).

I've tried manually updating all of my drivers in my device manager as well as running driver booster - both indicating all my drivers are updated, so I'm not sure if its a bad driver issue.

I've also replaced my HDD and RAM in the case they caused the issues - but obviously didn't help. Although, I am running a very old fan for my CPU and have a new one I could install, but wasn't too sure if heat would be a possible cause of this issue.

Should I install a new fan to cool my CPU (I have a new one that is very good quality - but slightly hard to install)? If you all have any suggestions for what I could do (besides completely buying new parts), please let me know.

PC Specs:

MOBO: Gigabyte GA-FXA990-UD3 Rev 3.0

HDD: WD Blue 1TB SATA 6 Gb/s 7200 RPM 64MB Cache 3.5 Inch Desktop Hard Drive (WD10EZEX)

SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 250GB

RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series (1x8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM 1600 (PC3L 12800) Desktop Memory F3-1600C9S-8GXLL

PSU: (Not Sure of Brand) ~550 Watts

CPU: AMD FX-8350 4.0Ghz 8-cores (No OC)

GPU: ASUS Turbo GTX 1060

OS: Windows 10 Home Edition (Upgraded from Windows 7 SP1 Disc)

Thank you,

vinnishi.

In general, many different BSOD's are usually a sign of a hardware problem.
As such, start out with these free hardware diagnostics:  http://www.carrona.org/hwdiag.html

Please run ALL of the tests and let us know the results.

Please run this report collecting tool so that we can provide a complete analysis: (from the pinned topic at the top of the forum)   http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/576314/blue-screen-of-death-bsod-posting-instructions-windows-10-81-8-7-vista/
NOTE:  On problem systems it can take up to 20 minutes for the log files to complete.  Please be patient and let it run.

If you still have problems with it running, there's an alternate tool here (direct download link):  https://github.com/blueelvis/BSOD-Inspector/releases/download/1.0.5/BSODInspector-1.0.5.exe

NOTE:
Please zip up the (.ZIP) files - do not use .RAR, .7z or other compression utilities.
.ZIP is the type file that can be uploaded to the forums.
