My friend experienced a powerful power outage that fried her WiFi router and caused Outlook 2013 to stop working. I used Microsoft's online fix tool. It now is working as far as receiving emails from her ISP, however I cannot register the software. Microsoft takes me into an endless loop of putting in the product key and then jumps to her account (which was deleted and she had to sign up again) and will not register the software.
So she paid for it through Amazon, has the product key and Microsoft after 3 days on online chat and phone calls cannot help.
Does anyone know how I can get this software registered and working again for her???
Microsoft is so frustrating to deal with and their support people do not have a clue! I have searched all over the internet for a solution and have tried all recommendations, such as runas admin, put product key in, shut down open as normal and it continues to have the red bar at the top and telling me it's an unregistered product.
