Hi gents. I won't talk to MS, if I may...Here attached is my System Configuration; so, after installing that build, my laptop failed to start. I could see a green screen reporting an error view: "PAGE FAULT IN NON PAGE AREA", file involved is "volsnap.sys" and refer to www.windows.com/stopcode. Well, the weird thing, for me, is that if I unplug an external drive running for backups, everything works good. So please let know if you could support me with this issue, because I can't stand anymore. My best regards, cheers, greysmouth BO IT.

An MVP friend of mine had the same issue.  She "fixed" it by disabling System Restore.

I suspect that Microsoft is working on a fix for this, but have no idea about it (I quit the MVP program a while back and don't read their stuff either)

I'll be glad to take a look at your reports and make some suggestions - but the Fast Ring builds aren't all that stable and I suspect that this is an instability in the build which we won't be able to fix (as such, the best option is to revert to the previous build and wait for a new one to come out).

Be sure to let your system report to Microsoft - as that's the only way they'll end up knowing that this is happening.

More systems with this problem: https://www.google.com/search?q=windows+10+fast+ring+BSOD+volsnap&oq=windows+10+fast+ring+BSOD+volsnap

Please run this report collecting tool so that we can provide a complete analysis: (from the pinned topic at the top of the forum)   http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/576314/blue-screen-of-death-bsod-posting-instructions-windows-10-81-8-7-vista/
NOTE:  On problem systems it can take up to 20 minutes for the log files to complete.  Please be patient and let it run.

If you still have problems with it running, there's an alternate tool here (direct download link):  https://github.com/blueelvis/BSOD-Inspector/releases/download/1.0.5/BSODInspector-1.0.5.exe

NOTE:
Please zip up the (.ZIP) files - do not use .RAR, .7z or other compression utilities.
.ZIP is the type file that can be uploaded to the forums.
