I'm not having any significant fps drops in games. My computer is not a very good one either but I've noticed something strange...
When the game freezes for 2 seconds, it always happens when a new sound is played. For instance in minecraft, when I open a chest for the first time, right before it makes the sound it freezes for 2 seconds. That applies to every sound as well. Like walking on the dirt, digging different types of blocks, other sound effects... Even when a new music starts.
So is it possible? Can it be my sound card (internal)?
By the way, I really have an inconsistent hard drive speed. Sometimes in the task manager, system is using 0.1 mbps and it says it's using 100%. It's a 5 year old computer.
RAM : 2 GB
HDD : 320 GB
CPU : Intel pentium (a very cheap one)
Graphics card is integrated.
I don't really see my RAM suffering from space but it's usually the disk usage.
