Swapp HDD for SSD procedure

My computer is an Acer Aspire XC-780 destkop.

 

I want to swap the installed HDD with a SSD.

 

After taking off the lid I see the HDD and other than knowing how to unplug the power and data cables, I do not know how to pull the HDD out of its location.

 

I would appreciate step by step direction

The below video is for the XC 600 which may be close enough to get you started. I could not find any service manuals on the XC 780. You may need to carefully remove the front facia in order to remove the optical drive to access the hard drive. Remember to ground yourself before removing anything inside the case.
