Hey, I've been having issues with my computer for the past couple months and have found no solution.

I've been having WHEA UNCORRECTABLE ERROR 0x124 nonstop for the past couple months. The issue only occurs when I'm playing games (and only seems to occur on games I'm playing through the steam client, although I'm not sure). I can play games like League of Legends perfectly fine with no crashes, however when I play games such as PUBG or CS:GO through the steam client my computer runs anywhere from 5 minutes to 2 hours and crashes randomly in the middle of playing. I have not played graphically-intensive games outside of steam though, and I will be sure to try games later through Blizzard, Ubisoft, etc..

Anyways these are the 2 errors I encounter:

https://gyazo.com/05ff23e9a99eadc853a33cedac7ae3d7
https://gyazo.com/2ead4d679cf0d3f4c1d90b1f7fbc0afd

Only 5 crashes are listed because I generally get pissed and just hold down on the power button when I get a BSOD. The BSODs occur on a daily basis.

Anyways, I guess you want my specs:
i7-4970k
x4 4GB G.Skill Ripjaws RAM
4GB SC GTX 770 (Lane 1)
4GB GTX 770 Classy (Lane 2) (NOT IN SLI WITH OTHER CARD)
ASRock z97 Pro4
EVGA G2 Gold 750W
7200rpm 3TB Seagate
128GB Samsung SSD

Here's what I've done to try to remedy the situation over the past couple months:
1) Replaced ASROCK z97x Fatal1ty mobo with z97 Pro4
2) RMA'd EVGA PSU and installed new one
3) Interchanged the graphics cards (ran both together, switched slots, ran both solo, etc). BSODs still occur.
4) Ran Prime95 for over 8 hours on my CPU. No overheating, no BSOD or errors.
5) Ran Furmark on both GPUs seperately. BOTH FAILED THE TEST WITHIN AN HOUR.
6) Ran Memtest+ on RAM for 8 passes I believe? No errors.
7) Cleaned both drives COMPLETELY and reinstalled windows.
8) Disabled overclocking in BIOS.
9) Set RAM speed manually (Board did auto pick up correct speed anyways).
10) Monitored temps while playing games that make computer crash. GPU throttled at 80C like supposed to... CPU hangs around 55-70C.
11) Removed and reinstalled graphics drivers several times throughout the whole process.

From what I've read 0x124 stop errors and WHEA errors are one of the hardest problems to diagnose. I know it's rare, but I suspect driver compatibility issues above all else (NO ERRORS IN DEVICE MANAGER BTW). I guess that covers everything I've done. Really the only things left I assume are to do a CPU replacement (which I can't afford right now) and maybe test each individual RAM stick (however I have none of the symptoms of failed RAM). Anything else you all suggest to rule out certain issues?

Sorry, just noticed the sticky asking for these things :P

Speccy: http://speccy.piriform.com/results/1ZL1triwhGkYaYki7ixNzck

I've run hard drive diagnostics on both drives and they passed. It's also probably worth noting that I have installed games on both drives and the computer BSODs no matter which drive they are on.

First off, nice work with what you've done so far.
STOP 0x124's are primarily hardware issues, but can be compatibility or low-level driver issues.

More info on them here:  http://www.carrona.org/bsodindx.html#0x00000124

How did the video cards fail Furmark?  Was it overheating, video problems, crashes, etc?

Your UEFI/BIOS (version P2.50) dates from 2016.  Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any UEFI/BIOS updates available for your system.  This is just in case there has been a more recent update.
FYI - W8 and W10 communicate more with the UEFI/BIOS than previous versions of Windows, so it's important to ensure that the UEFI/BIOS is kept up to date (and that outdated UEFI/BIOS' may be the cause of some compatibility issues).

Only 3 Windows Update hotfixes installed.  Most build 15063 (1703) systems have more than this.  Please visit Windows Update and get ALL available Windows Updates.
The actual number is not important.  Rather it's important that you checked manually, installed any available updates, and didn't experience any errors when checking or updating.

I'd suggest uninstalling the Smart Connect software and disabling Smart Connect in the BIOS.  Smart Connect isn't supported in W10.

Logitech drivers date from 2012.  I'd suggest uninstalling the Logitech software temporarily to see if that helps

Same goes for Speedfan - it's driver dates from 2012 also

Beyond that, if this is a compatibility issue, try running Driver Verifier using these instructions:  http://www.carrona.org/verifier.html

Thanks so much for the response! I've posted on several forums and gotten no response.

- I just updated Windows (although the last update was on 10/18).

- Removed old mouse/keyboard drivers from 2006 and got the Razer drivers from 2016 installed for both devices.

- No newer BIOS software available (I updated everything when I installed the mobo a month ago anyways).

- Uninstalled speedfan although that was a new install to monitor temps.

- Uninstalled 2012 logitech webcam software (no new drivers available on logitech website).

Going to remove smart connect now and try to get another crash with Furmark.

It seems the problem was resolved with the smart connect. I have not encountered a crash yet. Thanks again so much, you don't know how much of a pain this bug has been over the past couple months.
