hello!

I have upgraded my hardware and I decided to format my PC for a clean start, but windows 10 are giving me a hard time.

here are my current PC specs as collected by Speccy http://speccy.piriform.com/results/7YSIMLz5Y03gGrxeehqZhwl

I get random BSODs mainly with ntoskrnl.exe and ntkrnlmp.exe . By saying random means that it may happen at any time, i haven't figured out what is causing them, sometimes they happen when using skype, others when the pc is idle but i haven't experienced one while gaming (weird!).

It is driving me crazy, these are the steps that i have already done:

memtest 6hours pass

sfc /scannow

dism repair

driver verifier

updated drivers

removed software that may interfere like Kaspersky AV and Virtualbox

here are the dump files

Attached File  Minidump.zip   1.39MB   2 downloads

Please tell me if you need more info or something else.

Thank you in advance for your help! :)

Sorry for the delay in responding - lot's of work and car troubles!

Please run this report collecting tool so that we can provide a complete analysis: (from the pinned topic at the top of the forum)   http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/576314/blue-screen-of-death-bsod-posting-instructions-windows-10-81-8-7-vista/
NOTE:  On problem systems it can take up to 20 minutes for the log files to complete.  Please be patient and let it run.

If you still have problems with it running, there's an alternate tool here (direct download link):  https://github.com/blueelvis/BSOD-Inspector/releases/download/1.0.5/BSODInspector-1.0.5.exe

NOTE:
Please zip up the (.ZIP) files - do not use .RAR, .7z or other compression utilities.
.ZIP is the type file that can be uploaded to the forums.

My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.

Your UEFI/BIOS (version V1.12) dates from 2015.  Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any UEFI/BIOS updates available for your system.  If you are able to install the update through Windows (without booting from an external drive), then go ahead and update it.  WARNING - if the computer might shut down during this procedure, please don't do it, as this may physically damage the computer and prevent it from booting.
FYI - W8 and W10 communicate more with the UEFI/BIOS than previous versions of Windows, so it's important to ensure that the UEFI/BIOS is kept up to date (and the outdated UEFI/BIOS' may be the cause of some compatibility issues).

Although you appear to have a reasonable number of Windows Update hotfixes for this version of your OS, please double check for any new Windows Updates.  It only takes one update to cause a problem, so it's essential that you have all of them.  The actual number is not important.  Rather it's important that you checked manually, installed any available updates, and didn't experience any errors when checking or updating.

You have 5 hard drives.  What is the make/model/wattage and age of your Power Supply?
The purpose of this question is to get you to evaluate your PSU.
- PSU's tend to get less efficient with age
- adding components over time may decrease the ability of the PSU to support the entire system (Maybe remove some stuff to see if that helps?)
- while you can measure the output of a PSU with a multimeter, the readings may change dramatically when the PSU is put under load.  PSU testing instructions (by dc3) here:  https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/654994/pc-is-crashingfreezing-up-multiple-times-daily/page-2#entry4341756
- there's a free PSU test in the OCCT program at http://www.ocbase.com/

Please uninstall any Intel Smart Connect software, then disable it in the BIOS/UEFI.
Smart Connect is not supported in W10.

Please uninstall MiniTool Partition Wizard

It's driver (pwdrvio.sys) dates from 2009 and is likely not compatible w/W10

Please uninstall the DDR program under the MSI Command Center.

It's driver (NTIOLib_X64.sys) dates from 2012, is likely not compatible w/W10, and is known to cause BSOD's on some Windows systems

In the event that this does not stop the BSOD's, please run Driver Verifier according to these instructions:  http://www.carrona.org/verifier.html

Finally, Out of 16 memory dumps there were 8 different BSOD  (aka STOP or BugCheck) error codes.  The differing error codes are usually symptomatic of a lower level problem within the system. They are usually caused by one of these things (the list is not in any sort of order):
- borked (broken) hardware (several different procedures used to isolate the problem device)
- BIOS issues (check for updates at the motherboard manufacturer's website)
- overclocking/overheating - You'll know if you're overclocking or not. If uncertain we can suggest things to check.
- dirt/dust/hair/fur/crud inside the case.  Blow out the case/vents with canned air (DO NOT use an air compressor or vacuum as they can cause damage to the system)
- missing Windows Updates
- compatibility issues (3rd party hardware/drivers), older systems, or even pirated systems
- overfull hard drives (drives with less than 15% free space)
- low-level driver problems
- or even malware (scanned for when we ask for hardware diagnostics from http://www.carrona.org/initdiag.html or http://www.carrona.org/hwdiag.html ).

Please get a head start on the hardware diagnostics - they are located here:  http://www.carrona.org/hwdiag.html
Please finish ALL of them and let us know the results.

- My BIOS is the latest available from MSI.

- No windows updates available

- I have 3 HDDs + 1 SSD and my PSU is a 7 year old Corsair TX850W - 80 PLUS (I have a small LCD displaying the voltage, it's on limits under load)

- As I mentioned in my first post, I have used driver verifier and now there are no problems that it can detect.

- - I don't have any Intel Smart Connect software and it's already disabled on BIOS.

- - Removed MiniTool Partition Wizard, although the driver verifier had no problem with it at all.

- - MSI Command Center was already removed, too.

Wait to see if there are any further BSOD's.

If so, please zip up and upload the contents of C:\WIndows\Minidump for us to have a look at.

The MiniTool Partition Wizard driver is still in the memory dumps.
If you have definitely removed the program prior to these memory dumps, then please post back for more detailed instructions on how to safely remove the driver.

While you're at it, check on the SSPORT.sys driver.  This is a Port Contention Driver from Samsung and it dates from 2005.
In most cases this driver is seen to be stable - but we're facing an unusual situation here.  Please uninstall the software that uses this driver.

Beyond that, there are signs that this might be a hardware problem.
As such, please run these free hardware diagnostics:  http://www.carrona.org/hwdiag.html

Please run ALL of the tests and let us know the results.

yes I could see it using the driver verifier, please tell me how to remove it.

The SSPORT.sys driver is likely a driver for my printer, although it may not be a problem, i have removed it for now.

Do you suspect a specific component, eg RAMs or HDDs?

I'm late for work right now.  Will try to get the steps to you tonight, or at the latest, tomorrow AM

No specific ideas as to which hardware component, just a general randomness to the errors which may be suggestive of a hardware problem.

How to safely remove the pwdrvio.sys driver (found a few minutes before my shower):

1)   Create a Restore Point using System Restore
2)   Create a Repair disc (Recovery Drive in Win8.1/10):
Win 7 - Go to Start...All Programs...Maintenance...Create a System Repair Disc
Win 8 - Press "WIN" and "R" to open the Run dialog...type "RECDISC" (without the quotes) and press ENTER
Win 8.1 - Go to the Start Screen and type in "recoverydrive" (one word, without the quotes).  That will start the recovery drive process.  You will need a USB drive of at least 512 mB - and all data will be erased off of it.  If copying the recovery partition the drive size will be much, much larger (16 - 32 gB drive required).
Win 10 - Go to Start (press the "Win" key) and type in "recoverydrive" (one word, without the quotes).  That will start the recovery drive process.  You will need a USB drive of at least 512 mB - and all data will be erased off of it.  If copying the recovery partition the drive size will be much, much larger (16 - 32 gB drive required).
3)   Test the System Repair disc/Recovery Drive to make sure that you can get to the System Restore entry when you boot from the disk/drive (you may also want to try actually using System Restore to make sure that it works)
4)   Download this free program (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx) and use it to disable any instances of pwdrvio.sys that are starting (or any other MiniTool Partition Wizard entries) (DO NOT DELETE - only disable by removing the checkmark in the left hand column)
5)   Check in Device Manager (to include showing hidden devices from the View menu item) and ensure that any instances of pwdrvio.sys (or any other MiniTool Partition Wizard entries) are "Uninstalled" (DO NOT DISABLE THESE).
6)   Check in the Services applet (services.msc) to be sure any instances of pwdrvio.sys or any other MiniTool Partition Wizard entries are disabled.
7)   EXPERIMENTAL STEP (only try if you're certain of your abilities - I have not tried this step myself).  Search the registry (use regedit.exe) to locate any entries that have the driver name (pwdrvio.sys) or the program name (MiniTool Partition Wizard).  Delete these keys (it's advisable to back them up first - but you've also backed up the entire registry when creating a System Restore point in step 1.  Alternatively, you can set the values in these keys to DISABLED (but the "how" of this is beyond the scope of this guide).
8)   Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers and rename the pwdrvio.sys driver to pwdrvio.BAD (search the hard drive for it if it's not in C:\Windows\System32\drivers). (search the hard drive for it if it's not in C:\Windows\System32\drivers).

Also search the system to see if there are any other instances of the pwdrvio.sys driver in other locations - and rename them to pwdrvio.BAD also.
9)   Test to be sure that the device is working OK and that any BSOD's/errors have stopped.

In the event that the system doesn't boot:

1)   Boot from the System Repair disc/Recovery Drive and use the Command Prompt option to rename pwdrvio.BAD to pwdrvio.sys
ren C:\Windows\System32\drivers\pwdrvio.BAD C:\Windows\System32\drivers\pwdrvio.sys
2)   Boot from the System Repair disc/Recovery Drive and use the System Restore option to restore the system to a point before the changes were made.

Good luck!

Hello again!

I'm back posting here just to help the others who may have similar problems with me.

As i have stated in my 1st post, my PC was crashing at random times but it was perfectly stable for a memtest of 6+hours.

the problem is that windows use C-states to alter the CPU voltage during "idle" times or in low load circumstances which resulted in very low voltage for my CPU, undervoltage in short, resulting those random BSODs.

when I disabled C stated and EIST from bios, all these problems were gone and now I can use my computer again.

thank you @usasma for your help!
