I need help I posted a topic about my harddrive and no one is helping

I have a TOSHIBA SATELLITE S875D computer which has a 1TB hdd but it only shows 221gb how this happened was it had windows 7 and 1tb and
 important data then 1 day it would boot so i got windows 10 on it and it only has 221 gb and i need my data and get 1tb space i think it

Do you have a backup medium of any kind?

Such as a external HDD?
