Hi,

System is a Dell M4800, Windows 7, 64bit, Imaged from Enterprise version of Windows.

No viruses, system is up to date for BIOS, Windows Updates, Drivers, etc.

Almost 3 years old.  Intel Core i7-4700 MQCPU@2.4GHZ.  NVidia Quadro K2100M

Blue Screen Viewer File Attached.

I'm assuming individually uninstall USB Controllers, then restart to prompt download/install of fresh drivers but wanted to ask the experts.

Have had 5 crashes in past 3 weeks.  Thanks!

We need more information about your system than what you've provided. Hence, please follow these BSOD posting instructions and attach the requested files by replying to this topic. You may skip the part of step three where it instructs you to create a new topic, since you already have a topic here. There's no need to create another topic.

Thank you.

Regards,
bwv848

No problem. :)

The dumps are sparse in information, so right now I'd suggest you:

-update all USB drivers
-remove all USB devices (I honestly suspect the culprit here is your Logitech (?) RemoteControl USB LAN LINK device, just by the oddity of it)
-inspect the USB ports for any physical damage (this is rare, but it does occasionally happen )

and see whether if the issues persist. If they do, go ahead and run Driver Verifier according to these instructions and upload the new dump files as instructed in that tutorial.

Regards,

bwv848

Well, I removed the suspect USB LAN Link, which turned out to be a Driver for Harmony Logitech Remote, love using a company laptop for personal business....Also disconnected a little "light-up robot" USB Hub.  Haven't had anymore BSOD but the previous occurrences were pretty spread out.  Will have to wait and see at this point.  If it can go 2-3 weeks without it happening again, I'll think we're in the clear - will let you know and thanks again!

You're welcome. Glad to hear things are going well. If all is well after two weeks, feel free to try attaching ONE of the USB devices and see how the system behaves. The key is to see which device triggers the BSOD. :)

Care to send me the dump files? :) Were there any other USB devices still attached (e.g. a keyboard, mouse)?

Of course, and thanks.

As for other USB Devices, he also has a wireless mouse/keyboard, USB Speakers and a USB Pluggable HDMI Adaptor for a 3rd Monitor.  I know the last sounds quirky but I have the exact same recommended setup on 2 other workstations with exact same model laptop.  I can probably get him to switch out to a new USB Keyboard Mouse and get him to lose the Speakers, at least temporarily then see what happens.  Just in case I didn't mentioned, everything is running though a Dell Enhanced Docking Station.

I could only attach Exported File from Blue Screen Analyzer but at the end of the document, I included a link to Box to download the actual Dump File - only way I could see to get that to you.

Whilst information is pretty sparse with lots of symbol errors, parameter three of the bugcheck (theoretically) indicates that the system timed out waiting for a suspend-port request to complete. Hence, try turning off USB Port Suspension.
