Right now I'm running a GeForce GTX 1050, Intel i7-4779K @ 3.50, 16 GB of ram and a Samsung UN55KU6500 for my monitor. I'm planning an upgrade to a GTX 1070 or 1080 in the relatively near future as I realize the 1050 won't carry me far when it comes to gaming or streaming in 4K. What I'm struggling to understand is this: If I can have Warframe, Wildlands or several other fairly recent titles running at 2560x1440 and running on high settings, running a youtube video, two streams and a second light game (think many idle/clicker games out there) and still average at least 60 FPS in my main game, why can't my 1050 seem to muster 60 FPS at 4K on low graphics while I don't have anything else running in the background for it to render?
