I don't know what is wrong, I don't know is it Opera fault or what, but every time I open my (upateam.7.forumer.com) website and log on, my computer turns off or restarts... and it happend again and again... I know the problem is not in that website, the problem is in my computer.

I was watching my task manager and I saw this: it is using my CPU...

Hi hips,

Welcome to BleepingComputer Forums and thanks again for your patience.

1. To begin with it strikes me that you don't run any AV and firewall in the background. Do you run them online?

2. Spyware Doctor is active on your computer and that is good but it may interfere and/or actually obstruct HijackThis removal. So it has to be disabled first:

a. Open Spyware Doctor
b. Click on the 'Settings' button on the left hand panel
c. Then click on the 'Startup Settings' under 'Pick a Category'
d. Uncheck the box on the right that says 'Run at Windows Startup'

You may re-enable it once your clean; I will let you know!

3. Download SmitfraudFix (by S!Ri)
Extract the content (a folder named SmitfraudFix) to your Desktop.

Open the SmitfraudFix folder and double-click smitfraudfix.cmd
Select option #1 - Search by typing 1 and press "Enter"; a text file will appear, which lists infected files (if present).
Please copy/paste the content of that report into your next reply.

Note : process.exe is detected by some antivirus programs (AntiVir, Dr.Web, Kaspersky) as a "RiskTool"; it is not a virus, but a program used to stop system processes. Antivirus programs cannot distinguish between "good" and "malicious" use of such programs, therefore they may alert the user.
http://www.beyondlogic.org/consulting/proc...processutil.htm

4. Run HijackThis, click Scan and checkmark the following entries:

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {1da7dbe8-c51b-4ae4-bc6e-21863349b0b4} - (no file)
O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {a2595f37-48d0-46a1-9b51-478591a97764} - (no file)

Close all browsers and windows, except for HijackThis and click the Fix Checked button; close HijackThis!

5. Download ATF Cleaner by Atribune.

Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Under Main choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.

If you use Firefox browserClick Firefox at the top and choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.
NOTE: If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click No at the prompt.
If you use Opera browserClick Opera at the top and choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.
NOTE: If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click No at the prompt.
Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.
For Technical Support, double-click the e-mail address located at the bottom of each menu.

Reboot and post the smitfraud report together with a fresh HijackThis log for review.

Hi hips,

HijackThis log looks clean so that's good news.

1. You should print out these instructions, or copy them to a Notepad file for reading while in Safe Mode, because you will not be able to connect to the Internet to read from this site.

Please reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following :
  • Restart your computer
  • After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, tap the F8 key a few times;
  • Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu with options should appear;
  • Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode, then press "Enter".
  • Choose your usual account.
Once in Safe Mode, open the SmitfraudFix folder again and double-click smitfraudfix.cmd
Select option #2 - Clean by typing 2 and press "Enter" to delete infected files.

You will be prompted : "Registry cleaning - Do you want to clean the registry ?"; answer "Yes" by typing Y and press "Enter" in order to remove the Desktop background and clean registry keys associated with the infection.

The tool will now check if wininet.dll is infected. You may be prompted to replace the infected file (if found); answer "Yes" by typing Y and press "Enter".

The tool may need to restart your computer to finish the cleaning process; if it doesn't, please restart anyway into normal Windows. A text file will appear onscreen, with results from the cleaning process; please copy/paste the content of that report into your next reply along with a new HijackThis log.
The report can also be found at the root of the system drive, usually at C:\rapport.txt

Warning : running option #2 on a non infected computer will remove your Desktop background.

2. Please do an online scan with Kaspersky WebScanner

Click on Kaspersky Online Scanner

You will be promted to install an ActiveX component from Kaspersky, Click Yes.
  • The program will launch and then begin downloading the latest definition files:
  • Once the files have been downloaded click on NEXT
  • Now click on Scan Settings
  • In the scan settings make that the following are selected:
    • Scan using the following Anti-Virus database:
    Extended (if available otherwise Standard)
    • Scan Options:
    Scan Archives
    Scan Mail Bases
  • Click OK
  • Now under select a target to scan:Select My Computer
  • This will program will start and scan your system.
  • The scan will take a while so be patient and let it run.
  • Once the scan is complete it will display if your system has been infected.
    • Now click on the Save as Text button:
  • Save the file to your desktop.
  • Copy and paste that information in your next post.
3.

Yes, I don't have AV, I know I am maybe wrong, but believe me I had more problems with AV program, I mean I had more viruses... I scan my comp once a week with Panda online scan... and if I really need to have one, PLS suggest me which one to use.

> You're better off having a realtime AV on your computer and think of it in this way: if an AV is finding more viruses then it's doing it's job; a proper job.

There are several good ones and for free like:Personally I use AVG but they are all good so you may try and find out which one you like best.

> Furthermore I strongly recommend to install a firewall. There are several good but for free programmes available like:

Sygate
Kerio
Zone alarm

For a tutorial on Firewalls: Understanding and Using Firewalls!

Please post the Kaspersky report and let me know how things are running now.

OK, I've done everything you said and it didn't ask me for that file that you said...

Hi hips,

Because of a big storm I couldn't ge to the internet earlier. Really sorry for the delay.

I don't need firewall because I have wireless internet and I don't have many ports open, for example all ports for torrent and other p2p program are closed, I can't use those programs...

A baddie can enter your system in all kinds of ways and you're not safe at all using a wireless internet connection and 'not many ports' open. A firewall is a must if you're serious about protection.

In your case it may well be that you have been infected by something which is now hiding on your computer because you don't have an AV and firewall e.g. the two files found by Kaspersky and which I want you to delete later, might have been blocked by a firewall.
I am not sure why you're against having a firewall but please beware that it tremendously reduces the risk getting infected. All you need to do is take the time to configure it properly according to your needs and wishes. In conclusion I urge you to install a firewall right away.

You may find more information here.

1.

.. my comp is still restarting when I open my forum.

From your first post I get the impression that it only happens when you want to enter your own website? Is that true or does it happen more often? I have seen other people having problems like yours because of rapget.exe, which is running on your computer as well. Have you noticed any problems relating to rapget.exe? As far as you know is it related to RapidShare?

In the meantime try this:

Right-click on My Computer, click Properties, click the Advanced tab. Under “Startup & Recovery,” click Settings. Under “System Failure,” uncheck the box in front of “Automatically restart.”

This may result in a blue screen (BSOD) the next time the error occurs, but at least we'll be able to read what went wrong.
Copy exactly what it says on the screen. This may help us figure out what needs to be fixed.

2. Using Windows Explorer, please delete the following files in bold if listed:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\rxe84b2b.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\w0e08d2b.dll

Let me know how this step went.

3. Download GMER from here:
http://www.gmer.net/files.php

Unzip it to the desktop; rightclick and choose Extract all. Do not run it yet.

4. Download ATF Cleaner by Atribune. Do not run it yet.

5. You mentioned you were downloading AVG. When done please reboot into Safe Mode, run a full system scan and post the report on what was found and cleaned in your next reply (go to the Test Center > Test results).

6. Open GMER and click on the Rootkit tab.
Make sure all the boxes on the right of the screen are checked, EXCEPT for ‘Show All’.
Click on Scan.
When the scan has run click Copy and paste the results (if any) into this thread.

8. Kaspersky shows this file: C:\Program Files\Achilles-Script 3.4\Mirc.exe. Do you know the folder the file is in: C:\Program Files\Achilles-Script 3.4?

Please reboot and post back with the information I asked for together with the GMER report and a fresh HijackThis log for review.
