Missing Operation System?

I inserted my windows 7 home premium into my disk drive and now it is saying missing operating system

Whats on the hard Drive ? an existing Operating System ? or has it been wiped.

If you are Booting from the Win 7 Disc , you have to go to your Bios and change the Boot Sequence to CDDrive , reboot and at the Prompt if appears "Click any Key to boot from Disc " and then do the Install / Or it may just Boot from the CD.

I dont know I try reboot from my disk but it didnt work so I gave up and then when I wanted to try it again it says missing operating system even though I inserted my operating system
