Windows 10 GA-X99-SLI Random BSOD/Screen Freeze

If you have a GA-X99-SLI and it has started randomly freezing, crashing or BSOD, you need to update your BIOS to F23. There is a minor Windows 10 OS compatibility issue on the PCI-E switch for the recommended PCI-E SLI configuration. Gigabyte provides a BIOS flash utility that you can run in your OS. It is called @Bios.

 

It is generally good practice to keep your BIOS and OS up to date.
