Hi,

I have a BenQ monitor, the GL2460 model.  There is also a GL2460HM model.  Could you please advise what are the differences between these models?  What does "HM" stand for?

Thanks.

I believe they are identical except for the HM having built in speakers and I don't believe the HM has a camera.

The GL2460 model I have actually contains speakers (although sound quality isn't great).  Also, it doesn't have a camera (not something I need).

I would contact Benq support. They would have the answer you need.

The only thing I could find was the speaker difference. Strange that according to Benq there are no speakers on the GL2460

Thanks for the specification links.  It appears from the specs that GL2460HM has a HDMI port, but the GL2460 doesn't.

I had a look through my e-mail archive and found the e-mail relating to my monitor purchase back in early 2014.  It says "BenQ GL2460HM 24 Inch Full HD LED Monitor".  So it looks like that I do actually have the HM version of the product - even though it isn't shown on the product (it just says GL2460 on the top-right of the black bezel).  Hopefully that has cleared up the confusion!  :-)
