reffered from

https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/658787/clock-drifts-back-n-forth-gpu-not-stable-due-to-certain-exe-avi-files/page-2

brief :

certain programs in my PC

etc :

Google Chrome, avi movie's, games that run by .exe (e.g. league of legends, gta v)

even Skype.EXE

when ever started, GPU goes to max power and heats to 48"C"  and up to 65'C" on virtual ram.

this is not supposed to happen.. especially not when u just run "skype"

Second problem :

Clock drifts, i tried to switch server but its still not stable, i have to manually do the whole "update" thing everytime i want to have correct time and date.

ALWAYS THE LAST DATE That was updated by the Windows server clock will be displayed.

ETC :

Lets say today is 1.2.17

and time is 11:11am

(last synch)

i can restart PC after 1hour and the time will remain the same unless I update it ...

its very weird and thats the best solution i found (update manually)

Regarding the first problem :

I have discovered, that when I open my PC this problem doesnt happen .

Only when I run certain apps .

Apps that doesnt cause this program are :

Steam.EXE

(but programs in Steam like GTA V still makes that problem happen)

Logitech driver doesnt make this problem happen.

and steelseries driver is also clean.

another 2 apps that cause this problem to happen are,

Osu.exe and

Battle.net applications

E.g. Hearthstone.

Thanks for your help...

I am lost.. I dont know what to do :S very desperate, tried many many things, cured from malwares and this problem is still here.

Please download MiniToolBox  , save it to your desktop and run it.

Checkmark the following checkboxes:
List last 10 Event Viewer log
  List Installed Programs
List Users, Partitions and Memory size.

Click Go and paste the content into your next post.

Also...please Publish a Snapshot using Speccy taking care to post the link of the snapshot in your next post.

Go to Piriform's website, and download the free version on the left.  Click Download from Piriform.com (the FileHippo link requires an extra click). Or if you want to use a portable version of Speccy (which doesn't require installation), click the builds page link and download the portable version. You will now be asked where you want to save the file. The best place to put it is the Desktop, as it will be easy to find later.

After the file finishes downloading, you are ready to run Speccy. If you downloaded the installer, simply double-click on it and follow the prompts until installation is complete. If you downloaded the portable version, you will need to unzip it before use. Right-click the ZIP file and click Extract all. Click Next. Open up the extracted folder and double-click on Speccy.

Once inside Speccy, it will look similar to this (with your computer's specifications, of course):

post-33068-0-86653600-1480692866_thumb.j

Now, at the top, click File > Publish Snapshot.

Click Yes > then Copy to Clipboard

Now, once you are back in the forum topic you are posting in, click the ADD REPLY or REPLY TO THIS TOPIC button. Right-click in the empty space of the Reply box and click Paste. Then, click Add Reply below the Reply box.

*************************
Side note.
**************************

after rereading the logs again, Nvidia and Skype seems to be very dominant, I must state BOTH of these ARE INFECTED!
You can see that when I turn up BOTH of them, in the video here.
You  can see how my GPU goes crazy .

***************VERY IMPORTANT NOTE**********
During the Speccy SCAN the virus or whatever that thing is
WAS TURNED OFF (if idont run specific apps it will shown as turned off)
Would you like me to post another post while the virus program is active in the background?

Information point:  The instructions clearly request that the MTB data be simply cut/paste...not attached.  I will paste the data into your latest post above.

Have you tried replacing the CMOS battery with a new one?  System seems to have a problem with any number of different drivers...a faiiling CMOS battery could contribute to such, IMO.  If you replace the CMOS battery, enter the BIOS and reset the system to default settings...then save the changes.

I don't know you are referring to.

I simply want you to put in a new CMOS battery and see if the system behavior improves.

No need to scan anything.

Louis,

I am scared to do that ...

My GPU is pretty heavy and big (GTX 770 asus directuii)

and id rather not touch it or move it to place the battery :S

is there any other way to cure the GPU?

i learnt to live with the clock problem.

the GPU is what really matters for me here

FIX:

OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!! I CANT BELIEVE WE DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finally after 1 month of endlessly trying to fix ALL of these problems I found a fix!

the fix also was thanks to the Bleepingcomputer team of course!

Simple fix:

After the malware removal, the malware remained in my Driver gpu folder

I updated my driver to the latest update AS custom installtion and CHOSE

"CLEAN INSTALL"

and thanks to that my GPU problem was solved. now I can finally run Skype at 30"C" instead of 50!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG I CANT BELIEVE!!!!!!!!!!

thank you Louis AND ALL Who took active part working toward this solution............

Regarding time drifts :

I am sure its the Battery that must be replaced,

TO WHO EVER HAS SAME PROBLEM AS ME AND LOOK TOWARDS THE FIX :

First you have to remove the malware (Check the previous topics related to mine in the first  comment of me,

all of these scans including Eset and the others cleaned many malware and other viruses I had in my PC.

and only then perform a CLEAN install to the GPU drivers, that way the virus will be removed completely.

Louis  u can lock the thread, I will P.M. you when I replace my battery (If I ever do so, I told you I am scared)

if u recommend it I'll do it, thx again for all ur help!! I am the happiest man now :)

************** PLEASE HELP ME REMOVE ALL THE PROGRAMS INSTALLED FROM HERE I HAVE ON DESKTOP THANKS AGAIN!***********************
