On my contacts list I have 2 categories:  GOOGLE and EXCHANGE ACTIVESYNC.  Why do I have separate categories?  Explain please?

I can only presume that they are anticipating the need to differentiate those that synchronize with Google versus those that use Microsoft's Exchange ActiveSync, which will not come into play unless you have an account that uses MS-Exchange Server.
