Adobe CEF Helper EXE

Hello . This is my first post so please move my post if this is the wrong thread .

 

After having this Adobe CEF Helper . EXE , my computer strangely running very slow and crashes not mentioning that after running application it hangs once in a while .

 

I tried ending it in the process it just keep reappearing .

 

It eats up too much CPU and Memory .

 

How do I solve this ?

Please start with this:

Could you be infected?  It's possible that malware has corrupted your current protection, so please try a couple of these, independent scans (from this link: https://www.us-cert.gov/ncas/alerts/TA15-286A ).  This is in case your current protection is compromised by malware and giving false results:

           F-Secure
           https://www.f-secure.com/en/web/home_global/online-scanner (link is external)

           McAfee
           http://www.mcafee.com/uk/downloads/free-tools/stinger.aspx (link is external)

           Microsoft
           http://www.microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx (link is external)

           Sophos
           https://www.sophos.com/en-us/products/free-tools/virus-removal-tool.aspx (link is external)

           Trend Micro
           http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ (link is external)

If the system comes up clean, please post back here to let us know that the system is clean and free of infections.

My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.

Thanks for your reply . After the scan from those various online scanner there is no virus found .

Next step (IMO) would be to uninstall the Adobe software, check to make sure that the Adobe CEF Helper . EXE file was removed, then install a freshly downloaded copy of the latest version that's compatible with your system and OS.
