I run the free version of Avira and I never get any Nag Screen as that.

What I get is a screen once in a while asking me if I would like to try the paid version of Avira for 30 days.

Download and run the Windows Installer Cleanup Tool.

Ironically, I stopped using avast because of their self-advertising pop-ups. Now Avira  does it.

Unfortunately it appears that you can't stop the upgrade ads from Avira, one of the reasons I took it off the wife's computer.  I installed Bitdefender which you can turn off the upgrade ads.  It is a good free antivirus, better that Avira according to comparisons by "non-biased" websites.
