Hi

I found this running in processing

Au_.exe

It was using 97% of CPU and 2,550k mem usage.

I stopped the process and the computer ran a lot faster.

Anyone know what this does.

The file AU_.exe can be good or bad depending on the folder where it is stored. Please do a search for the file and tell us what folder it is in.

Thanks

Either way its only optional, so since its taking up so many resources it would be dumb to let it run. You can stop it from starting up by clicking onn the start menu, andclicking on run. Type in msconfig, and when msconfig pops up click the startup tab. Find thatprogram and select disable. Now when you start your system that program will no longer start up.
