Hi all!

I have successfully set the homepage to https://www.startpage.com/, but I cannot also set the startup page to same.

I have tried to set the startup page to same, but it only shows up as a thumbnail on the middle of the screen, which I then have to click in order to display it on the whole screen, which I find cumbersome.

And hence, my question is as follows;

How do I change startup page on Google Chrome?

Thank you very much in advance!

Regards,

If you open the Chrome Settings, the last setting you see prior to the "Advanced" dropdown is the "On Startup" section where you click on the "Manage on Startup pages" item just beneath it.

You will then choose the "Open a specific page or set of pages" radio button, which then opens an area below it where you select the specific page, or multiple pages, you wish to have opened on startup.

I always use "Continue where I left off" so I really have no use for a true startup page, but this is where you set it if you want one.

Hi, britechguy!

Thank you for the prompt and insightful reply! :)

Yes, your instructions worked like a charm! B)

I normally use Firefox 99.9% daily since it features disabling history altogether, but occasionally Chrome as well.

This is because Umbra in another of my own recent topics suggested the web browser security add-on Opswat Metadefender Secure Online Downloading in stead of the now discontinued VirusTotal's VTzilla, of which the latter only works in Firefox.

Of course, I am aware of VirusTotal's VTchromizer for Chrome, but it is also now discontinued.

Thank you very much for the help! :) The issue has been successfully resolved! :thumbup2:
