Unfortunately there's not many Android developers at BC and that may be the reason for no reply. I would advise you check look for Android specific forums.

A couple that may help.

As JohnC has said, it may be that no one here knows the answer. I see that as of this time you have 377 views so it is not as though your topic has been ignored. I certainly don't know the answer to your question so, and I presume this goes for almost all BC's members, there is no point in me making a post saying 'Sorry, I don't know'.

I am going to be away until about the 22nd October. Time on-line will be reduced and my internet access may be limited. PMs may not be replied to as quickly as normal !

Another excellent option for seeking Android programming information is the forums at https://www.xda-developers.com/

I, too, fall into the, "I don't know, personally," category.   And the Android folk, like the Linux folk, tend to form their own enclaves.  I'm generally surprised that we have the amount of Linux traffic that we do have on BC.  That volume is, by comparison, dwarfed Windows forums.  They seem to have it over both iOS and Mac forums, though.
