We've had this PC for about 1.5-2 years now, and it's always worked fine and fast. Then about a week ago it started being very, very slow. No viruses or spyware. When turning on, it's stuck on the Windows/Dell loading screen for about 5ish minutes. Today my mom called the Geek Squad and had them do a remote repair, and it's a lot better, but still a bit slow. What's a fix for this, or is it just normal slowdown?

Here are some things to do to help resolve this.

If you are using a hdd defrag it and use the Disk Cleanup tool.

Clear your temporary files.

Please download and run Temp File Cleaner by Old Timer and save it to your desktop.

Please download and run Adwcleaner and the Junkware Removal Tool.
