4 mini dumps zipped and attached. good luck and thanks!

I plan on unplugging 3 of the 4 HDD to see if that resolves the issue. leaving in 1 HDD and 1 SSD.

Nothing real certain here, but I'm wondering about the USB sub-system:

Please visit the AsRock support website for your motherboard and:

- ensure that the BIOS is the latest available

- update your chipset drivers

- update all the Intel stuff (RST, MEI, ICCWDT, etc)

- update all the AsRock utilities (as they sometimes contain Intel stuff - such as the ICCWDT)

- update the Asmedia 106x SATA Host Controller Driver

- update anything that you can find that's related to your USB.

If this doesn't fix things, then try running Driver Verifier using these instructions:  http://www.carrona.org/verifier.html

Let the system crash at least 3 times so we can have several memory dumps to look at.

BIOS is the latest avilable

I found my chipset drivers and updated them (but I don't think they were out of date)

AS MEDIA 106x... installed

(ALL ASRock utilities in the image below were installed EXCEPT "Restart to UEFI ver:1.0.5" and "Intel Smart Connect")

Am I suppose to find all these under the ASROCK support page?

http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z77%20Extreme6/#osW1064

looks like there are some USB drivers under windows 7 but I only looked at the windows 10 64 bit.

As for a USB driver I can not find one for win 10 64bit

i'm going to set up and run driver verifier tomorrow.

EDIT: I went back and uninstalled the ASRock XFast LAN Utility ver:10.10   after install it had negative effects on my connection.

ALSO I installed the new intel chipset 10.1.1.42 (I show this at the current drivers even though dated 1/1/1970)

DRIVER VERIFIER- CRASH ON BOOT

I let it crash- write a dump. jump into safemode and saved 5 separate full kernel dump files.

after 5 I turned it off an restarted normally.

I have included a link to the zipped crash files.

https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B0y0qiEh-0h9c253MW9pQTFoWWs

I'm beginning to wonder what are the chances that this is not a software issue but a motherboard or CPU issue. could it be my PSU?

After hunting down all these drivers my system is not running the same as it was. still a fast boot up time. 8 seconds or so. but  when I log in getting any internet connection takes soooo much longer. it use to be instantaneous but now it takes a minute for all programs to recognize the connection and start using it. (once I figure out the issue I think I will do a clean reinstall. with the final solution in play.)

The Driver Verifier memory dumps blame k57nd60a.sys - a driver for your Broadcom NetLink Gigabit Ethernet
Please:

- download a fresh copy of the latest, W10 compatible driver for this device from the AsRock website

- uninstall the current driver software for that device and reboot

- install the freshly downloaded driver

- monitor for further BSOD's

Should the BSOD's continue, we have to wonder if the device itself has a hardware problem.

But things will get a bit difficult if this is the case, as these devices are normally built into the motherboard.

Maybe try a USB to Ethernet adapter (but that's for later on and it depends on it's drivers also)?

I will attempt to fix this driver for the onboard ethernet.

Would it be worth picking up a gigabit expansion card and disabling the onboard ethernet port in the UEFI?

Actually, trying a GBE card would be better than my suggestion of a USB to ethernet dongle!

im not sure if the problem is getting worse or if i'm just butchering the background for windows 10 with everything i'm trying. like I said before, windows has, for the last 2 days, been acting slow/strange on boot. specifically regarding the internet connection. it shows that I am connected I have a DHCP distributed IP from my router/Modem. but no programs will connect to the internet for about 60 seconds. not chrome, Steam, Blizzard, Discord, IE. nothing. This behavior is not normal usually I can reboot my machine, login, and be loading webpages in about 15 seconds. now there is a hick-up at startup. On top of that, today my girlfriend has noticed that when I reboot my computer, her system shows a loss of network connection warning. but the lost connection never result in booting her from established connections just a bit of lag in a game. it is super strange and I think I may want to reinstall fresh and go back through what we have done so far.

I see one of 2 things here... either the current port is getting worse and now sending out garbage at boot, or I have butchered my windows install to the point of reinstall, start fresh.

thoughts?

Also, I went to the ASRock website, and I don't see any broadcom driver under the windows 10, you can go back and get it for 8.0, 8.1 and 7 but i'm assuming for Win 10 it will auto install a generic or has it already incorporated into the system. upon clean install Windows 10, the NIC always just worked. I never had to install a NIC driver. could use some guidance on the "correct" driver to be used for a reinstall of the device driver.

I don't do much with networking - usually I just sent people over to the Networking forums:    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/f/21/networking/

But if it's drivers, that I do work with.

My concern here is that AsRock doesn't support W10 for your motherboard - so I wonder why.

Most often it's a money decision (they don't want to pour money into developing drivers for a product that's no longer selling much).

But what if there's an issue w/W10?  They can avoid that by stating that they don't support W10 - and they don't spend any money.

But, in this case, there appears to be a different tactic.

They support W10, but only for certain devices.

And they leave the others up to Windows Update (I think).
in that case, as long as you have ALL the available Windows Updates and have allowed Windows Update to update your drivers ( https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/15054/windows-7-automatically-get-recommended-drivers-updates-hardware )

then you should have the latest available, W10 compatible networking drivers.

So, I suspect that the ethernet card is most likely the culprit.  A new GBE card is fairly inexpensive.
I'd try that next.  Even if it's not needed, having one on hand is a good idea (in case of a network card failure at 3am).

The alternative here is to try a clean install of Windows to see if it's a driver corruption.

Good luck!

yes very inexpensive I ordered one last night before I went in to work for the over night. should be here Wednesday and I pray to put this all in the past and enjoy many tears of crash free gaming. time will tell. get back to you as soon as I know more...  as it turns out I need to convert my Boot drive OFF MBR to get the next update for Windows 10 so ill be back when that is done. windows has a nice tool to help with that. or a clean reinstall will do the trick too.
