Hi,

I have a this little used projector in good working order. Have not used since Win 7. It doesn't fully work in Win 10. Seems it needs a new driver. Had a frustrating time trying to find one on the internet. Anyone got a solution please?

It looks like a plug and play device so I doubt you will get it to fully function on Windows 10.

Contact Sagemcom support. Philips uses Sagemcom for their supplier of projectors.

Have you updated the firmware?  Their site indicates there's been a firmware update.

I think I am being dim but I can't see where the indication for the firmware update is.

I have written to Sagecom Support but no reply as yet. Feeling slightly peeved that a perfectly good piece of hardware doesn't function properly because of this.

Although Sagecom make the product the branding allover it is Philips but hey don't seem interested from what I have read on their site.

There are various driver update sites that offer an upgrade - providing one pays money.

Oh! and thanks for your replies!

Download the user guide. In the guide the firmware update is listed under the language section. See page 18 and 19. Update the firmware on the Windows 7 computer and hopefully the update if any will let the projector function on Windows 10.

Edit: Sorry, I misread the manual, it's under the Maintenance section.

Hi John C et al,

As I don't have a windows 7 computer anymore this isn't an option. however, I have had a reply from Sagecom:

Dear customer

Here you can find all available drivers:

http://www.project-your-life.com/en/firmware-updates

You need to look under PPX2340. The Windows 8 version should work with Windows 10.

Pleased to report this works.

Thanks to all for your help.

I'm glad you've found what looks like a solution.  This device is not supported in the US so it's quite the roundabout effort to find official support information.  I found it (including the note about a firmware update) an a European site that I came to indirectly.

As John requested, please do post back with the result.  It's a big help to future searchers.

Sorry John & Britechguy, I thought I had but when I read my post I see that it is not obvious:

The firmware update from the link worked perfectly and I now have a fully functioning projector and computer combination.

trust this makes it clear.

I agree. It is not easy to find the solution, took me a couple of days on and off. Hope this might help others. I see from comments here and there on the web that other people have the same problem.

Hi, I just updated my 2330 and everything goes well, but now the proyector only works in mirror mode. Is your proyector working in extended mode on windows 10? Thanks for posting this man, you just revived my proyector
