I recently downloaded a file (woopsie) and got a fake svchost.exe in my startup folder. Luckily it hasnt added itself to the registry-due to my antimalware stuff, but i dont want the notice continually popping up. Does anyone know how to get rid of it. It says access denied and such, im somewhat worried.

Hi, enjoi800:

Besides this topic, I see that you have posted 2 HiJackThis logs in our security forum. Opening multiple topics with the same complaint does not do anything but cause confusion. Please be patient, and one of our volunteer helpers will get to your original topic shortly. Logs are worked based on the first in, first reviewed, system.

Good-luck.
