I've moved this topic from Am I Infected to Win 7, since it seems that malware is not the issue here.  Let's do a little investigating.

Do you have System Restore enabled?

Please download MiniToolBox  , save it to your desktop and run it.

Checkmark the following checkboxes:
List last 10 Event Viewer log
  List Installed Programs
List Users, Partitions and Memory size.

Click Go and paste the content into your next post.

Also...please Publish a Snapshot using Speccy taking care to post the link of the snapshot in your next post.

Go to Piriform's website, and download the free version on the left.  Click Download from Piriform.com (the FileHippo link requires an extra click). Or if you want to use a portable version of Speccy (which doesn't require installation), click the builds page link and download the portable version. You will now be asked where you want to save the file. The best place to put it is the Desktop, as it will be easy to find later.

After the file finishes downloading, you are ready to run Speccy. If you downloaded the installer, simply double-click on it and follow the prompts until installation is complete. If you downloaded the portable version, you will need to unzip it before use. Right-click the ZIP file and click Extract all. Click Next. Open up the extracted folder and double-click on Speccy.

Once inside Speccy, it will look similar to this (with your computer's specifications, of course):

post-33068-0-86653600-1480692866_thumb.j

Now, at the top, click File > Publish Snapshot.

Click Yes > then Copy to Clipboard

Now, once you are back in the forum topic you are posting in, click the ADD REPLY or REPLY TO THIS TOPIC button. Right-click in the empty space of the Reply box and click Paste. Then, click Add Reply below the Reply box.

I repeat...is System Restore enabled on this system?

I would uninstall every IObit program you have installed...Driver Booster, Malware Fighter,

I would uninstall Wondershare Helper Compact...there is no Wondershare software on your system and this program thus serves no purpose.

You don't have sufficient room on your C: drive for Windows to operate properly.  If System Restore is enabled, please disable it temporarily.  If you have videos, graphics files, video files or other data files stored on your C: partition...please move such to any one of the other partitions (all have plenty of room).

Run the chkdsk /r command on your C: partition...follow that with running the sfc /scannow command.

I would also uninstall Avast and then reinstall the most current free version from HERE ..

IE 9 is unsupported.  I suggest you either update to IE 11 if for no other reason than the installation of critical updates.

Chkdsk Command, Windows 7, Aura - http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/582646/cyclic-redundancy-error/?p=3759189

Run sfc scannow command prompt, Aura - http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/579699/missing-uxthemedll-file/?p=3736491

You...ask for assistance...and then you don't want to follow suggestions that may help resolve your stated problem/situation.  I do not suggest anything based on "what is necessary" because presuming such for a system that I cannot see or manipulate...would be a fallacious assumpiton on my part.  I can only tell you what steps I would take...if my system reflected the situation you have described thus far.

I note that you did not mention moving any data files from the C: partition...and that is the one thing that appears to directly affect your given situation, IMO.

None of your temperatures or processes appear to be out of line.  No hard drive problems that jump out at me.

Missing large number of critical updates, no critical updates installed from 2013 until last month.  This may be impacted by the fact that you do not have Internet Explorer 11 installed...Internet Explorer 9 is no longer supported by Microsoft and I would assume that critical updates would not be available using it.

MS Announcement

IE 11 Download

Download/install the 32-bit version, please.

None of the above will do anything to address your basic problem.  Your basic problem is that your C: partition is too small for whatever it is that you have on it.

Since you have 1 hard drive with 4 partitions...one way to resolve this would be to use a partition manager and resize the existing partitions.  Another would be to simply do a clean install but that doesn't seem the best route, since you only have the single hard drive.

Do you have any experience using a partition manager program?

Are there any games or videos currently on your C: partition?  Music files?  Graphics files?

Please empty the Recycle Bin on your desktop.

Your Win 7 partition is approximately half of the size that it should be.  I just looked at mine and it's 80GB with 25GB of free space on the partition and the only things on my C: are Windows and some programs.

You need to do some study of a good partition manager (I use Partition Master) and learn how to use it to increase the size of a partition, etc.  Remember that you always have to start with the right-most partition...create some unallocated space, then move that space over to the left...by moving the partitions.

Google Data On Easeus Partition Master.

The alternative is to do a clean install and establish a Windows/C: partition that is about 80GB and just leave the rest of the space as one partition, rather than 3.

Whoever created those partitions...did not do you any favors, IMO.

Your partition C: is very small at approx 30GBs. Personally I would reinstall the OS after backing up all your data to a USB external drive. In addition you have another extended partition with 3 virtual partitions. I would keep it simple by installing the OS to the drive and if needed reduce the Windows partition and create only one primary partition for your data. The drive is only approx 500GB.

Was Windows 7 Pro pre-installed on the computer? Do you have a install disk?

Right click Comptuer and select Properties. Or Control Panel\System and Security\System.

At the bottom of the screen is the PID. Does this have OEM in it?
