I have NEVER had to take the computer in for repair, and everything works like it is supposed to.

 

I certainly hope I don't jinx anything by posting this... :-)

Heh.  I hope not, as well.  My current one hasn't required a repair shop yet, even as it nears the end of its usefulness.

Yeah, you got a lot of good years out of your unit. However, you DO need an upgrade, so it's good that you're asking these types of questions right now.
